A summary of what we gather on this site, how we use it, and what we do not do with it. Last updated September 19, 2026.

The quote tool

To get quotes, the form asks for your gender, date of birth, how you would describe your health, whether you use tobacco, how much coverage you want, and what term length interests you. These answers go to the carriers' quoting service to pull back rates, but this website does not store them. We do not ask for your name, address, phone, or email just to see quotes. If you ask the same question twice, we might serve it from a short-term cache to save a call to the quoting service.

Applying

If you go ahead with an application, your answers are used to fill in a secure form run by the carriers on their own platform, and their privacy policy applies from that point on. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles the application process.

The contact form

The contact form collects your name, email address, an optional phone number, your preferred way to be contacted, what your message is about, and what you want to say. It goes to the agency as an email, with your email set as the reply-to address. We do not keep a copy on this site, do not store submissions in a database, and do not log what you wrote. Before you send, your browser runs a quick anti-spam check.

Measurement

We track page visits using a first-party system that runs from this domain and does not use cookies or tracking identifiers. We mask part of your IP address before storing anything; we strip out the search terms from any referring page; we delete raw logs after three months. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal or activates Global Privacy Control, we do not collect any measurement data from your visit.

What we do not do

We never sell visitor data, share it with marketers, use advertising pixels, or run third-party analytics. The only outside code on this site is the carriers' application platform, and it only loads if you visit the application page.
